One of Vladimir Putin’s first announcements as Russian president was that he would not be attending the upcoming G8 summit in the US. He says he is just too busy.
But as Al Jazeera’s Robin Forestier-Walker reports from Moscow, Putin’s no-show could sour relations with the US.
