Environmental activist deaths on rise

More than 900 people have been killed in the last decade while campaigning for a cause in which they believed.

    There has been a sharp increase in the number of environmental activists being killed during the last decade, according to a new report by environmental group, Global Witness.

    More than 900 people were killed while campaigning against land grabs, industrial logging and other causes in 35 countries.

    Only 10 people have been convicted in related cases.
