Philippines steps up typhoon relief efforts

Volunteers have been working around the clock to help relief efforts for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

    A major aid appeal is under way around the world to collect funds for the victims of the Typhoon Haiyan.

    The UN has released $25m in emergency aid and has asked for millions more in donations. But there are still major distribution problems because of the damage to the infrastructure.
