Report alleges mistreatment of Philippine nationals who illegally cross border into Sabah to escape poverty.

    Al Jazeera has obtained a confidential report that reveals alleged human-rights abuses by Malaysian forces against illegal immigrants from the Philippines. The Commission on Human Rights in the Philippines examined the treatment of Filipinos in the Malaysian state of Sabah.

    Al Jazeera's Jamela Alindogan reports on the case from Tawi-Tawi in the Philippines.
