Ecuador gets mobile operation theatre

Doctor converts truck into surgery room to perform procedures in areas with limited access to medical care.

    For many people in remote communities in Ecuador, access to surgery is a serious problem.

    The cost of travelling to a large city for health care can be prohibitive.

    But a doctor has come up with a novel way to bring the operating room to the rural communities.
