US tech firms to pay for deferred pregnancies

Apple and Facebook offer insurance coverage to female employees to freeze their eggs while they put off having children.

    American technology companies Apple and Facebook are offering to cover the cost of freezing the eggs of its female employees.

    It is the latest perk in the push by companies to get more women working in the tech industry, which some critics say is misguided.
