US to send more troops to hunt LRA chief Kony

White House says soldiers and aircraft will help in search for remaining leaders of Lord's Resistance Army.

    The US is sending military aircraft and more troops to Uganda to help in the hunt for Joseph Kony, the fugitive leader of the Lord's Resistance Army.

    The rebel leader fled Uganda following a sustained military campaign and is wanted by the International Criminal Court along with his senior commanders for war crimes.

    Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from Washington.
