Bolivia motorcycle rally sparks backlash

Dakar Rally competitors race on the world's largest salt flats, prompting objections from environmentalists.

    The Dakar Rally has entered Bolivia's high-altitude salt flats for the first time.

    Competitors arrived to a rapturous reception from locals and President Evo Morales - but not everyone has welcomed the hundreds of motorbikes tearing through one of the country's most popular natural habitats.
