Hopes for jobs soar over US pipeline

Locals welcome plans by Enbridge to carry toxic tar sands oil across American Midwest despite environmental concerns.

    Environmental groups fear the threat of pollution from the Keystone project, stretching all the way from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico.

    But another oil pipeline project is being welcomed by some Americans who are hoping for a jobs bonanza.
