Having baby in the US costs more than anywhere else, despite country's highest infant mortality rates.

    It costs more to have a baby in the United States than anywhere else in the world, despite having one of the highest infant mortality rates.

    The average conventional delivery can cost almost $10,000, while a caesarean birth will increase the bill to $15,000.
