Debates on new abortion bill in Texas

Senators in the US state of Texas are debating abortion ban after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Texas senators have been working on a new bill on abortion which would ban it after 20 weeks of pregnancy and impose strict hospital style operating standards.

Protesters stage a sit-in to oppose the abortion bill. They say access to abortion will now be more difficult.

The debate has drawn nationwide attention.
