Deadly tornado rips through Texas

At least six people killed and seven people still missing after powerful tornado hit the US state.

    A powerful tornado has ripped through the US state of Texas, killing at least six people.

    Hardest hit was Granbury, 110km west of Dallas.

    Seven people are still missing in the neighbourhood that included housing for the poor.

    Authorities were assessing damage and searching through rubble, hoping to find survivors among the twisted metal and splintered wood of flattened homes.
