Inmates ordering attacks on streets of Brazil

Around 60 recent attacks in Santa Catarina are thought to be the work of avenging inmates.

A gang of criminals inside Brazilian prisons are being blamed for a series of revenge attacks on the outside.

It's thought the violence in Santa Catarina state is in retaliation for prison guards attacking inmates with tear gas.

Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
