Chicago embraces global warming

Windy City moves to curb climate change effects despite forecasts its climate will soon resemble New Orleans.

    Forecasters say the climate in the US city of Chicago will soon resemble that of New Orleans, hundreds of kilometres to the south.

    But few places in the world are taking climate change as seriously as the Windy City.

    Al Jazeera's John Hendren reports from Chicago.
