Muhammad Ali receives prestigious award

Boxing legend is the first athlete to be honoured with the Liberty Medal for his work outside the ring.

    Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, 70, has become the first athlete to receive the Liberty Medal, an award described as "honouring people who strive to secure liberty for others around the world".

    Several diplomats and politicians have been given the medal.
    As Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports, the prestigous honour is for the boxing legend's work outside the ring.
