Republicans slam 'White House leaks'

US legislators allege Obama is deliberately allowing leaks so he appears tough on national security.

    Lawmakers in the United States are demanding an independent investigation into the leaks of classified government papers.

    Barack Obama's political opponents have suggested the leaks are coming from inside the White House - something the President has called "insulting".
