Newseum charts role of new media in reporting

Washington museum portrays evolution of newsgathering through social media and technology.

    From Facebook to Twitter to Youtube, social media has changed the face of journalism. Now, a US museum dedicated to the industry is showcasing the evolution of such technology in newsgathering.

    The Newseum, Washington’s shrine to journalism, has spent $5m to illustrate how such tools are making an impact.
