US examines Mexico operation

Covert plan that allowed weapons sales by US government agents raises troubling questions in Washington.

    US politicians are asking lots of questions about Operation Fast and Furious - a plan allowed US government agents to sell weapons to Mexico.

    They want to know why the weapons are being used in the country's deadly drug war.
