Obama seeks to engage with Latin America

    Barack Obama, the US president, has started a five-day tour of South America where he hopes to improve ties with the region. It is his first trip to Latin America as president. He is expected to visit Brazil and Chile, ending the trip in El Salvador. Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports from Brasilia.
