Brazil hunts drug traffickers

Police on the trail of kingpin and associates who escaped security crackdown in Rio De Janiero.

    Police in Brazil are searching for one of the country's most powerful suspected drug traffickers, as well as nine of his associates.

    They all escaped from a shanty town in Rio de Janiero, eluding a police crackdown.

    They are thought to be hiding somewhere inside the Tijuca forest.

    Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Rio De Janiero.
