Kenyan mayor in court over scams
Mayor of Nairobi is accused of defrauding the city council of over $3m for land intended for a cemetery.

Nairobi’s mayor is just the latest of a string of prominent politicians in Kenya to face charges of corruption.
Godfrey Majiwa is pleading not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit corruption over the fraudulent purchase of land near Nairobi to serve as a new cemetery for the Kenyan capital.
