Al Jazeera meets with young South Africans following in Nelson Mandela's footsteps.

    On the occasion of Nelson Mandela's 92nd birthday, Al Jazeera has been meeting some young South Africans who are following in his footsteps by giving up their time for the community.

    Chris McConnachie, 23, is a law researcher at the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg.
