Prominent Lebanese activist assaulted

A prominent Lebanese activist and independent politician has been assaulted in broad daylight.

The opposition has called it part of a campaign of intimidation by the government against the continuing anti-establishment movement.

As Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports from Beirut, the assault has once again raised concerns about a clampdown on free speech.
