
Rise of populism in Europe ahead of European Parliament elections
Between May 23 and 26, voters across the EU will elect members of the European Parliament.
Voters in the world’s second-biggest electoral contest will head to the polls next week when they take part in the European Parliament elections.
Topping the issues this year are immigration, “terrorism”, climate change and economy.
But it is the rise of populism that could reshape the bloc’s agenda for the next five years.
