Afghan leaders hold congress over peace moves involving Taliban
Thousands of regional leaders from across Afghanistan gather to discuss how to achieve peace with the Taliban.

It’s a rare national assembly, called loya jirga, which will steer the government in its negotiations with the Taliban.
