UK: Guernsey’s parliament debates legalising assisted dying

For some terminally ill patients, assisted dying is way out of their pain.

Politicians on the island of Guernsey, a British dependency off the northern coast of France, are set to debate a new bill that could eventually see assisted dying made legal.

It would make Guernsey the first place in the British Isles to allow the controversial practice.
