Winter makes bad situation worse for displaced Syrians

Dire winter has increased the suffering of displaced Syrians in southern province of Deraa who live in makeshift camp.

People who’ve fled the war are now facing a battle of a different kind – surviving the bitterly cold winter.

Cold weather and rain has exacerbated the bad situation as water and mud entered tents
