Manchester United win Europa League trophy for first time

English football club Manchester United has won the Europa League trophy for the first time in its history, beating Ajax of Amsterdam 2-0 in the final in Sweden’s capital, Stockholm.

The match went ahead as planned less than 48 hours after a bombing in United’s home city which killed at least 22 people and wounded dozens of others.
