Syrian government airstrikes have targeted several cities and towns in Damascus province. At least six people were killed in Arbeen, while two others died in Haresta.
There have also been attacks in Eastern Ghouta, which has been under siege by the Syrian army since 2013. About 400,000 civilians are believed to be trapped there, and those who have managed to escape are living in makeshift camps.
Al Jazeera’s Mohamed Adow reports.
