Around the world in electric cars

Three teams have set off in custom built electric cars in a "zero emission race".

    Teams from Australia, Germany and Switzerland have set off on an around-the-world race - with a difference.

    It is called the "zero emissions race" and participants are competing in custom built electric cars.

    Two drivers per car, three wheels, 30,000km ahead of them, this is no ordinary race.
