Romania has become the latest European country to ask the European Union and the International Monetary Fund to bail it out of its financial problems.
The move is a significant turnaround from only months ago its economy was the fastest-growing in Eastern Europe.
Now, with unprecedented levels of debt, it is set to ask for as much as $25bn.
