China is set to spend $2.6bn developing an iron ore mine in Liberia, a country struggling to recover from years of war.

It supporters say the project will create 3,000 jobs, but critics warn Liberia is handing over control of its resources to Beijing.

Al Jazeera’s Dan Nolan reports from the mine site, about 150km outside the capital, Monrovia.
