China is on course to join Japan and the US as a leader in the art of animation.
Zhongnan Animation is one of China’s top animation studios, but still a relative youngster at only five years old.
It has approximately 1,000 employees competing in an industry dominated by Japan and the US.
As Al Jazeera’s Melissa Chan reports, they are entering a lucrative market as China has 265 million children who are potential viewers.
