In a landmark ruling, Israel’s supreme court has ordered a halt to construction in the Bet El settlement in the West Bank.
Human rights lawyers challenged the legality of the settlement using documents, in both Arabic and Hebrew, that proved Palestinian ownership of the land.
However, as Al Jazeera’s Jacky Rowland reports, there is little sign of Israeli settlers moving out any time soon.
