Barcelona are sitting top of the table in La Liga with European champions Real Madrid four points behind.
The end of the Spanish football season, however, could be ruined by a dispute over a new law.
The national federation will suspend Spain’s domestic football from May 16 but the league is taking legal action to stop that from happening.
