Afghanistan footballers suffer from a short season and a salary that they can barely make ends meet with.

Fans say football shows Afghanistan in a better light.

But the season lasts for just three months and the players struggle to make ends meet.

Zmaray Salangi plays for the Eagles and earns around $160 a month. Without any education, he worries for his future after his playing days are over.
