Discrimination still an issue in women’s football

Limited opportunities and artificial turf are just a few issues hampering the world of women’s football.

The Women’s World Cup in Canada is giving women’s football a profile like never before.

The number of teams in this year’s event have increased to 24 from 16 in 2011.

But it’s a sport where discrimination can still be the fiercest opponent any player gets to face.

Andy Richardson reports from Edmonton, one of the six host cities.
