Amazon town catches football fever
Brazilian city of Manaus, known as the gateway to the Amazon, is preparing to host four World Cup matches.

The Brazilian city of Manaus – the gateway to the Amazon – will host four World Cup matches starting with England versus Italy on Saturday.
Outside of Rio, the northern city is one of the most popular places for fans to visit.
There is not a strong football culture in Manaus compared to other parts of the country, but the fever is starting to spread.
Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo reports from Manaus.
