Nets seal season sweep over Heat
LeBron James’ 29 points and six assists not enough to save his side as the Nets sneak out 88-87 win in the NBA.

New Jersey’s rookie centre Mason Plumlee blocked LeBron James’ dunk attempt with two seconds left as the Nets beat the Miami Heat 88-87 for their fourth victory and a season series sweep.
James had 29 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to lead the Heat (53-24), who still lead the Indiana Pacers by a half-game in the battle for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Joe Johnson had 19 points for the Nets (43-34), who are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and became the first team to beat the Heat four times in the regular season since 2007-08.
Elsewhere, Detroit guard Rodney Stuckey scored 29 points and Andre Drummond dominated inside with 19 points and 17 rebounds, lifting the Pistons to a 102-95 win over the Hawks.
Four months after they were scheduled to play each other in Mexico City but never did, the Minnesota Timberwolves blew out the San Antonio Spurs 110-91 in a makeup game.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points and moved into the tenth spot on the NBA’s all-time scoring list in the Dallas Mavericks’ 95 83 victory over the Utah Jazz.
