Deng snaps Heat’s losing run at home

Forward Luol Deng had 23 points as Miami snapped its five-game home losing streak, defeating Boston 100-84 at AmericanAirlines Arena.
The skid at home was the Heat’s longest since March of 2008. Even with the win, the Heat are just 5-9 at home this season. That’s in contrast to last season, when the Heat went 32-9 at home.
Elsewhere, guards Lou Williams and Kyle Lowry each scored 22 points as Toronto defeated the New York Knicks 118-108.
Lowry added nine assists as the Raptors extended their winning streak to six games to equal a season-high and gave the Knicks their fifth loss in a row.

Dion Waiters scored 21 points off the bench, guard Kyrie Irving had 17 points while tying his career high with 12 assists and the Cavaliers handed the short-handed Grizzlies their worst loss of the season – a 105-91 defeat.
