Minnows vie in UAE for T20 World Cup spot

Battle for Bangladesh heats up, as Gulf state, the US and Canada among the small sides with big qualifying hopes.

The United Arab Emirates is hosting 16 of the world’s second-tier cricket sides as the team attempts to qualify for the Twenty20 World Cup.

The contest is also a chance for the US and Canada to revive cricket’s oldest rivalry.
