A boxer from Syria is attempting to become the first Arab heavyweight champion of the world.
Manuel Charr will fight Vitali Klitschko for the WBC title on Saturday in Moscow.
It could be one of Klitschko’s last fights before concentrating on his political career.
But for the Syrian, the stakes are much higher.
Al Jazeera’s Paul Rhys met Charr at his training base in Germany.
