Al Jazeera’s Paul Rhys reports from Dunedin on the new career of Kees Meeuws, an All Black prop who has played in two Rugby World Cups for New Zealand.

His ferocious power saw him play 42 Tests for the All Blacks, scoring 10 tries in what was an international record for a prop at the time.

Now his destructive qualities in the scrum have made way for his creative side, in a new calling as a professional artist and sculptor.

At age 37 he is still playing, but says that last season will be his final one for the ITM Cup team Otago Razorbacks.
