Le Mans of canoe racing

The Sella River Race, one of canoeing’s oldest and biggest races, attracted over 200,000 spectators this year.

Every year competitors from all over the world decend on Northern spain for what is the the Le Mans of canoe racing.

The Sella River Race dates back to 1929. This year’s event attracted over two hundred thousand spectators.
