Lawn bowls is not a sport associated with diversity and youth but one Cape Town club is trying to change that perception

    Long regarded as a sport for old white folk, the Strand lawn bowls club in Cape Town is actively trying to get young black kids involved in the game.

    Mandla Sixolo, an 18-year-old, is the club's biggest success story - he was voted Western province sportsman of the year for 2013.
