IOC: London is ready for Games

Despite the expense and worries over public participation, the IOC says London is prepared to host a great Games.

After their final inspection, the IOC has backed London to deliver an 'outstanding' Olympic Games.

IOC official Denis Oswald says there are only small details left to finish before the world's attention is on England's capital city.

However, although the venues are ready there has been criticism levelled at the money spent, ticket allocation and legacy promises that are yet to be fulfilled.
