Palestinian footballers impress against odds

Palestine football team play their first match in Manila since Gaza ceasefire as they prepare for Asia Cup debut.

Despite complications in training and playing football due to the conflict that surrounds the country, the Palestinian football team has resumed their participation in hopes of achieving goals.

The team has played its friendly game in the Philippine capital, Manila, while struggling to prepare for the Asia Cup next year.

The team is composed of players from inside the Occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. Some of them are also based overseas.
