Qatar is accelerating its plans to stage the 2022 World Cup.

The hosts, though, have attracted no little controversy. FIFA is currently investigating allegations of corruption surrounding the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 tournaments.

Qatar officials, however, deny all wrongdoing and say they have nothing to hide.
