Bayern Munich blitzed Wolfsburg with five goals in 17 minutes to come from a goal down and win 6-1 to stretch its winning run to a Bundesliga record 16 games.

Naldo deservedly scored in the 17th minute for the home side, before Xherdan Shaqiri equalised after a goalmouth scramble in the 26th.

Thomas Mueller scored in the 63rd, Mario Mandzukic likewise three minutes later, then Franck Ribery in the 71st, before Mueller claimed his second in the 78th and set up Mandzukic two minutes later.

Elsewhere, Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored a hat-trick and had a penalty saved as Schalke 04 bounced back from last week's heavy defeats to ease past Hoffenheim 4-0 and tighten their hold on fourth spot.

Borussia Moenchengladbach lost 2-1 at home to Augsburg, bottom side Eintracht Braunschweig drew 2-2 at Stuttgart, Hamburger SV drew 1-1 with visiting Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen drew 1-1 with Hannover.
