One week to Brexit?

Britons prepare to vote on a British exit, or ‘Brexit’, from the European Union.

On June 23, Britain is holding a referendum on its future in the European Union. And if five opinion polls released this week are anything to go by, the country might just become the first to leave the 28-member bloc.  

The momentum of the “Vote Leave” movement comes on the back of a campaign that argues the EU is infringing upon the UK’s sovereignty, and the country is hurt by open borders and economic deals that benefit others. But “Stronger In” campaigners see EU membership as beneficial to freedom of movement, jobs and trade with the rest of the world.
